EMS -ISO 14001:2015 standards are applicable to any diverse organization, with various size, type and vertex, and applies to the environmental aspects of its activities, products/Process/ services that the organization determines it can either control or influence considering a life cycle assessment. ISO 14001:2015 does not state specific environmental performance criteria.

EMS - ISO 14001:2015 standards can be used in whole or in part to systematically improve environmental management. Claims of conformity to ISO 14001:2015, however, are not acceptable unless all its requirements are incorporated into an organization's environmental management system and fulfilled without exclusion.

Course Objective

The structured training materials and course tutor’s aim’s at providingstaff with neededbasic knowledge / experience in, ISO 14001 – EMSand to create a suitable platform during implementation process enabling the staff with better understanding of the management systems approach and the requirements of ISO 14001, and to provide necessary tools for teams preparing for implementation.

Course Duration: 1 day (8 Hrs)

Prerequisite for course

Course Overview

This competency-based course teaches a general understanding of the concepts of the ISO 14001:2015 standard and the principles and practices of leading management systems and process audits in accordance with ISO 19011.

The target of this course is to provide students with the knowledge and skills required to perform first, second and third-party audits of Environmental management systems against ISO 14001, in accordance with ISO 19011 and ISO/IEC 17021 -1, as applicable.

This course is IRCA-certified and accepted. Attendees who have successfully completed this course will fulfill the training requirements for certification as an IRCA EMS Auditor/ Lead Auditor.

Course Duration: 5 days (40 Hrs)
