  • ISO 22301:2012 Business Continuity Management Training

A BCMS is a holistic management methodology that identifies potential threats to an enterprise and the impacts to business operations those threats could cause if they occur. ISO 22301 is an International standard that specifies requirements for setting up and managing an effective Business Continuity Management System (BCMS) which defines Business Continuity (BC) as the capability of an organization to continue delivery of products or services at acceptable predefined levels following a disruptive incident. The Standard applies the “Plan-Do-Check-Act” (PDCA) model to planning, establishing, implementing, operating, monitoring, reviewing, maintaining and continually improving the effectiveness of an organization’s Business Continuity Management (BCMS).

ISO 22301 requires an organisation to pre-empty risks and put in place contingency plans and tested responses to more effectively respond to unexpected threats should they arise by helping your team agree on timeframes within which you will resume your activity following an adverse event.
